The Islamic Republic of Iran national flag,horizontally striped green-white-red national flag with a red design (a stylized coat of arms) in the centre and Arabic inscriptions along the edges of the stripes. The flag has a width-to-length ratio of 4 to 7.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 7:4. From top to bottom, the flag is composed of three parallel rectangles of green, white and red. In the middle of the white rectangle is a red national emblem pattern, with 11 sentences of (Allah is great) written in Arabic above and below, totaling 22 sentences, to commemorate the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11, 1979, the Islamic calendar is November 22). Green stands for agriculture, life and hope; white stands for holiness and purity; red stands for Irans rich mineral resources.
